Amour – Noir&Blanc / Love – Black&White

Cette semaine c’est bouchée double! 🙂 Voici donc d’une part l’illustration retenue pour le septième thème du Projet Photo 52 sur Flick’r et la même légèrement modifiée pour les “Macro Mondays” sur le thème “Noir et Blanc”.

Cette rose fait partie de mon bouquet de St Valentin! 🙂 (il y a quelques bien agréables clichés auxquels ont n’échappe pas). Elle a été photographiée de près. La première version, bien rouge, était destinée au thème « Amour ». Elle a ensuite été retouchée avec Lightroom, essentiellement par filtre bleu et rééquilirage global pour « Noir et Blanc ».

Rendez-vous pour le récapitulatif P52 sur Flick’r et le récapitulatif des lundis en macros sur Flick’r. Et on verra quel rendez-vous sera honoré la semaine prochaine… 😉

Double bite this week!. Here is the illustration chosen for the seventh theme of the 52 Weeks Project on Flick’r and the one, slightly modified for the Macro Mondays on the theme « Black and White ».

This rose is part of my Valentine’s Day bouquet! 🙂 (there are some very nice clichés one don’t want to escape to). It was photographed closely. The first version, very red, was intended for the theme « Love ». It was then retouched with Lightroom, mainly by blue filter and global re-balancing for « Black and White ».

So appointment for the summary on Flick’r and the summary of the Macro Mondays. And we will see next week…

Noir et blanc / Black and White

Noir et blanc… La photo aurait pu être en noir et blanc… Mais j’ai préféré l’illustrer différemment! J’avais le choix parmi mes animaux de compagnie, mes chats tous les deux noir et blanc, et mon chien blanc. Ceux qui me lisent depuis longtemps les connaissent tous, à force de participer au projet 52! 🙂

Voici donc à nouveau Eliasto, notre chat peluche. Je suis d’ailleurs entrain de me battre avec lui pour rédiger ce billet : il vient de rentrer trempé d’une ballade et cherche à occuper mes mains par des caresses plutôt que par un clavier… A force de se faire repousser, il vient d’ailleurs de changer de victime. 🙂

Black and white … This picture could have been in black and white … But I preferred the show it differently! I had the choice among my pets, my cats are both black and white and my dog is white. Those who read me for a long time know them all, as I participate to the project 52 for years now! 🙂

So here again is Eliasto, our plush cat. I am also fighting with him to write this post: he has just returned wet from a walk and seeks to occupy my hands with caresses rather than with a keyboard … As I was pushing him away, he finally changed victim. 🙂

Cadre / Frame

L’inspiration n’était pas particulièrement au rendez-vous pour le thème « Cadre ». J’aurai bien jeté mon dévolu sur une vieille fenêtre mais je n’ai malheureusement pas eu la chance de croiser celle des mes désirs durant ces derniers jours. J’ai donc joué avec un petit cadre de chez mon ami suédois, comme dirait Véronique, et un bouquet de tulipes. Il s’agit du premier de la saison et j’espère bien qu’il annonce le printemps! Pour les curieux, les tulipes sont mauves à la base. J’ai préféré retravailler la photo en noir et blanc pour lui donner un côté plus abstrait.

La semaine prochaine nous planchons sur « Escalier ». Et comme d’habitude : rendez-vous lundi chez Cathy pour le récapitulatif, ce fameux résumé de toutes les interprétations des participants au Projet Photo 52.

The inspiration was not particularly on the go for the theme « Frame ». Well I would have loved to set my heart on an old window but unfortunately I did not get a chance to meet the one of my desires in these last days. So I played with a small frame with my Swedish friend, as Véronique would say, and a bouquet of tulips. This is the first of the season and I hope it really announces spring! For the curious among you, the tulips are initially purple. I decided to rework the photo in black and white to give it a more abstract side.

Next week we are working on « Stairway ». And as usual appointment Monday by Cathy for the summary, this famous summary of all the interpretations of the participants of the Project Photo 52.

Opposés / Opposites

Mes lecteurs réguliers savent que j’ai passé beaucoup de temps dans un bouchon en début de semaine. Outre d’admirer la forme des flocons de neige qui tombaient sur mon pare-brise, j’ai réfléchi à l’illustration du thème « Opposés ». Effectivement, les premières idées qui m’étaient venues ne me convenaient pas. Je les trouvais plus symétriques qu’opposées!

Et non, contrairement à ce que vous pouvez imaginer, je ne sais pas jouer aux échecs! Ma connaissance se limite aux déplacements des pièces. J’ai donc demandé à mes joueurs de me mettre en place les pièces pour que la partie soit crédible. Je n’ai ensuite fait que la mitrailler sous différents angles. Et la meilleure prise de vue de la série, vous l’avez sous les yeux! 😉

Pour la semaine prochaine, ce sera « Orange ». Et là encore, je vais avoir du mal à éviter le contexte culinaire… Sinon, rendez-vous lundi, comme d’habitude, chez Cathy pour le récapitulatif.

My regular readers know that I spent a lot of time in a huge traffic jam earlier this week. Besides admiring the shape of the snowflakes falling on my windshield, I thought about the illustration of the theme « Opposites ». Indeed, the first ideas that had come to me did not suit me. I found them more symmetric than opposite!

And no, contrary to what you might imagine, I do not play chess! My knowledge is limited to the moves of the pieces. So I asked my players to set me up a credible game. I then did the strafe under different angles. And the best shot of the serie, you have it before you! 😉

For the next week, it will be « Orange ». And again, I’m having trouble to avoid the culinary context … Otherwise appointment Monday, as usual, with Cathy for the summary.

Noir et blanc / Black and White

J’avais en tête de vous publier la photo d’un beau bouquet retravaillée noir et blanc. Et puis, il y avait le chien sous la table avec le bouquet… Je n’ai pas résisté à le prendre le photographier! Et il a même détrôné le dit bouquet… C’est vrai qu’il y a longtemps que vous n’aviez pas profité de notre ménagerie! 😉

Pour ceux qui ne le connaitraient pas, voici donc Calaël, notre adorable Westie qui nous tient compagnie depuis quelques années déjà. C’est mon premier chien. Etant plutôt attirée par les chats et ayant en tête l’image plutôt peu glorieuse d’Odie, compagnon canin de Garfield le chat, je n’étais pas convaincue de m’y attacher. Et bien, c’est comme vivre à la campagne : je ne retournerai plus en arrière maintenant! 🙂

Pour la semaine prochaine, il va falloir qu’on trouve comment illustrer « Ecriture »…

I taught that I would publish a photo of a beautiful bouquet reworked in black and white. And then, there was a dog under the table with the bunch … I did not resist to take pictures! And he has even dethroned the bouquet… It’s true that it makes a while since you have seen our menagerie! 😉

For those who do not know him, so here is Calaël, our adorable Westie who keeps company for several years now. He is my first dog. Being rather attracted by cats and having in mind the rather inglorious image of Odie, the canine companion of Garfield the cat, I was not convinced taht I would like his presence. Well, it’s like living in the countryside : I would not return back now! 🙂

For next week, we will have to find how to illustrate « Writing » …
