Connection

Voici l’illustration retenue pour les “Macro Mondays” sur le thème “Connection”.

Je crois que j’aime bien le cuivre! Je suis donc allée chercher deux morceaux de fils électriques. Ils s’effleurent en un timide contact d’où le titre de la photo (et accessoirement le titre d’un de mes films de science-fiction favoris).

I think I like copper! So I went to get two pieces of electrical wire. They fade into a timid contact from where the title of the photo (and incidentally the title of one of my favourite science fiction films).

High Key Macro

Voici l’illustration retenue pour les “Macro Mondays” sur le thème “High Key”.

Il s’agit de la deuxième fois en peu de temps que je tente d’imager ce thème. Après mon chien en début d’année, voici quelques coquillages ramassés sur les plages du Morbihan.

This is the second time in a short period that I try to find a picture for this theme. After my dog at the beginning of the year, here are some shells picked up on the beaches of Morbihan.

Reine / Queen

Après des semaines de laisser-aller sans participation photographique aucune, j’ai décidé de me reprendre en main (je ne sais pas si cela va toutefois durer…;) ) Voici donc l’illustration retenue pour les “Macro Mondays” sur le thème “Reine”.

Il s’agit de la reproduction d’un sceau. Bien que d’allure royale (d’où mon choix 🙂 ), il fait référence à Marie de Bourgogne. Le thème de la chasse lui fût fatal : elle est morte des conséquences d’un chute de cheval.

After weeks of slopiness without any photographic participation, I decided to take control again (I don’t know if it will last… 😉 ). Here is the illustration chosen for the Macro Mondays on the theme “Queen”.

It’s the reproduction of a seal. Even with its royal look (thus my choice 🙂 ), it refers to Mary of Burgundy. The hunting theme killed her ; she died after she fell from her horse.

Fait de métal / Made of Metal

Voici donc l’illustration retenue pour les “Macro Mondays” sur le thème “Fait de Métal”.

Il s’agit du col métallique d’un flacon d’un célèbre parfum. Placé au soleil grâce à la superbe météo de ce week-end. 🙂

It’s the metallic neck of the bottle of a famous perfume. Put in the sun with the excellent weather of this sunday. 🙂

High Key

Voici donc l’illustration retenue pour le huitième thème du Projet Photo 52 sur Flick’r.

Une photographie High Key est une photographie très claire, surexposée. Un sujet de choix, par sa couleur, est mon chien. J’ai profité de sa sieste sur une couverture grise pour remplir les contraintes du sujet.

Here is the illustration chosen for the eighth theme of the 52 Weeks Project on Flick’r.

A High Key photograph is a very clear, overexposed picture. A subject of choice, by its color, is my dog. I took advantage of his nap on a gray blanket to fill the constraints of the subject.

Amour – Noir&Blanc / Love – Black&White

Cette semaine c’est bouchée double! 🙂 Voici donc d’une part l’illustration retenue pour le septième thème du Projet Photo 52 sur Flick’r et la même légèrement modifiée pour les “Macro Mondays” sur le thème “Noir et Blanc”.

Cette rose fait partie de mon bouquet de St Valentin! 🙂 (il y a quelques bien agréables clichés auxquels ont n’échappe pas). Elle a été photographiée de près. La première version, bien rouge, était destinée au thème « Amour ». Elle a ensuite été retouchée avec Lightroom, essentiellement par filtre bleu et rééquilirage global pour « Noir et Blanc ».

Double bite this week!. Here is the illustration chosen for the seventh theme of the 52 Weeks Project on Flick’r and the one, slightly modified for the Macro Mondays on the theme « Black and White ».

This rose is part of my Valentine’s Day bouquet! 🙂 (there are some very nice clichés one don’t want to escape to). It was photographed closely. The first version, very red, was intended for the theme « Love ». It was then retouched with Lightroom, mainly by blue filter and global re-balancing for « Black and White ».

Flou dramatique / Dramatic Blur

Avec un jour de retard par rapport à la périodicité demandée, voici donc l’illustration retenue pour le sixième thème du Projet Photo 52 sur Flick’r.

Il s’agit de la photographie d’une renoncule en fin de vie prise volontairement floue. J’apprécie beaucoup les effets d’ombre et de lumière qui la compose.

With one day too late compared to the requirements, here is the illustration chosen for the sixth theme of the 52 Weeks Project on Flick’r.

It is the photography of a buttercup at end of life voluntary taken blurred. I love the light and shadow effects in it.

Effet Maquette / Tilt Shift

Ca y est. J’ai à priori repris le chemin d’une quête photographique hebdomadaire! ! Voici donc l’illustration retenue pour le cinquième thème du Projet Photo 52 sur Flick’r qui devrait être un rendez-vous plus ou moins régulier de l’année 2017.

Je n’avais pas entendu parler de « l’Effet Maquette » auparavant. Il s’obtient soit grâce à un objectif spécifique soit par retouche photo. C’est cette deuxième option que j’ai retenu à travers Lightroom. Je dois confesser que la photo d’origine date de cet été, lors de nos vacances, mais elle a bien été retouchée cette semaine. 🙂

So this is it. I’m probably back on the path of a weekly photographic quest! Here is the illustration chosen for the fifth theme of the 52 Weeks Project on Flick’r which should be a more or less regular appointment of the year 2017.

I had not heard of the « Tilt shift » before. It is obtained either by a specific objective or by photo retouching. It is the second option that I have chosen through Lightroom. I must confess that the original photo dates from this summer, during our holidays, but it has been reworked this week

Passion

Les années passent et je n’arrive pas à abandonner le concept de quête photographique hebdomadaire! ! Voici donc l’illustration retenue pour le premier thème du Projet Photo des Passionnés qui devrait être un rendez-vous plus ou moins régulier de l’année 2016.

Vous admirez un Halflinger, Aladin, en pleine leçon de dressage. Et oui, je crois bien que l’équitation est une de mes passions! 🙂 Le dressage est sans doute ma discipline favorite. Aladin n’est pas un cheval que je monte : il avait ma fille aînée comme cavalière. Comme vous le savez peut-être, je me suis mise à l’équitation tardivement après avoir vu mes enfants à cheval. Du coup, nous sommes trois, les trois filles de la famille, à pratiquer ce sport dont je ne soupçonnais pas pouvoir tirer autant de plaisir!

Years pass and I can not abandon the concept of weekly photographic quest! So here is the illustration for the first theme of the Photo Project of the Enthusiasts which should be a more or less regular appointment in 2016.

You admire a Halflinger, Aladdin, during a dressage lesson. And yes, I think that horse riding is one of my passions! 🙂 Dressage is probably my favourite discipline. Aladin is not a horse I ride: he had my oldest daughter as rider. As you may know, I started riding on the late after seeing my children on horseback. So, we are three, the three females of the family, doing this sport which I never suspected to give me as much pleasure!

Escalier / Stairs

Voici enfin le billet allant avec la photo du thème « Escalier » du Projet Photo des Lumières! La raison de cette publication très tardive est ma contamination par les microbes de ma plus jeune…

Il s’agit d’un des escaliers de mon lieu de travail strasbourgeois. Il s’agit d’un bâtiment de 1925 avec un lourd style architectural allant avec l’époque! Toujours est-il que j’aime beaucoup cet escalier avec sa texture mouchetée et je me demande régulièrement comment l’une des marches a pu perdre un morceau… 😉

Here is finally the post in relation with the photo chosen for the theme « Stairs » of the Photo Project des Lumières! The reason for this very late publication is my microbial contamination by my younger one…

This is one of the stairs of workplace in Strasbourg. It is a 1925 building with a heavy architectural style going with that times! Anyhow, I love this staircase with its speckled texture and wonder regularly how one of the steps has lost a bit… 😉
