High Key

Voici donc l’illustration retenue pour le huitième thème du Projet Photo 52 sur Flick’r.

Une photographie High Key est une photographie très claire, surexposée. Un sujet de choix, par sa couleur, est mon chien. J’ai profité de sa sieste sur une couverture grise pour remplir les contraintes du sujet.

Here is the illustration chosen for the eighth theme of the 52 Weeks Project on Flick’r.

A High Key photograph is a very clear, overexposed picture. A subject of choice, by its color, is my dog. I took advantage of his nap on a gray blanket to fill the constraints of the subject.

Regard / Gaze

Je suis à nouveau de retour pour une illustration du thème « Regard », du Projet Photo des Lumières. Encore une fois, j’avais perdu espoir d’y participer!

Voici finalement le regard suppliant de mon chien dans l’espoir que j’aille le promener 🙂 . Il m’arrive d’avoir du mal à la supporter car il me regarde comme cela à chaque fois que je me lève! 😉 Je ne vous raconte pas ce que cela donne lorsque j’ai le malheur de mettre des chaussures et/ou un manteau!

I am again back for the illustration of the theme « Gaze » of the Photo Project des Lumières. I had again lost hope to participate. 🙂

Here’s the pleading of my dog hoping that he would get a walk 🙂 . Sometimes I’m fed up with it because he is looking at me this way every time I get uo! 😉 And I will note tell you what he does each time I put my coat and/or shoes on!

Noir et blanc / Black and white

Pour le thème « Noir et blanc », thème de la semaine du Projet Photo Renouvelable de la Fille de la Sardine je ne pouvais faire autrement que de vous montrer un de mes animaux familiers qui déclinent tous ces deux coloris.

Voici donc notre Westie en mode été, photographié leur d’un beau dimanche ensoleillée du mois de mai.

Plein-air

Je me disais que cela faisait longtemps que vous n’aviez pas eu droit à mes animaux familiers dans le cadre du Projet Photo Renouvelable! Pour le thème « Plein-air » voici donc à nouveau mon chien.

Sur une pelouse fraîchement tondue, un de ses grands plaisirs est de se rouler dans l’herbe et de se fair courir après. Le cliché est bien sûr relatif à la première activité et ne vous montre qu’un tas hirsute de poils plus ou moins blancs. Pour ceux qui ne l’auraient pas encore croisé sur ce blog, sachez qu’il s’agit d’un Westie. 😉

I thought that it was a long time that you haven’t seen my pets for the Renewable Photo Project! So, for the theme « Plein-air » here’s my dog ​​again.

On a freshly mowed lawn, one of his greatest pleasures is to roll himself in the grass and to be chased. The photo is of course one related to the first activity and shows you a bunch of more or less white shaggy hair. For those who have not yet crossed him on this blog, know that he is a Westie. 😉

Plongée / High Angle Shot

L’illustration de ce thème, Plongée, est une valeur sûre : notre chien Calaël! A la lecture du thème, je savais que nos animaux, chats ou chien, en feraient les frais. Après quelques essais félins, je dois bien admettre qu’il est difficile de leur faire prendre la pause, en particulier lorsqu’on n’a pas de reflex sous la main. Le temps que le compact se déclenche les chats sont partis depuis longtemps…

Je vous laisse deviner dans quelle attente le chien fait le beau! 🙂

A lundi pour le récapitulatif et je vous laisse aussi méditer sur mélange, thème de la semaine à venir.

The illustration of this theme, High angle shot, is a safe value, Calaël, our dog! At the reading of the theme, I knew that our animals, cats or dog, would bear the brunt. After a few tries on the cats, I have to admit that it is difficult for them to take the posture, especially when there is no reflex at hand. The time that the compact triggers, cats are long gone …

I’ll let you guess what the dog is awaiting! 🙂

Noir et blanc / Black and White

J’avais en tête de vous publier la photo d’un beau bouquet retravaillée noir et blanc. Et puis, il y avait le chien sous la table avec le bouquet… Je n’ai pas résisté à le prendre le photographier! Et il a même détrôné le dit bouquet… C’est vrai qu’il y a longtemps que vous n’aviez pas profité de notre ménagerie! 😉

Pour ceux qui ne le connaitraient pas, voici donc Calaël, notre adorable Westie qui nous tient compagnie depuis quelques années déjà. C’est mon premier chien. Etant plutôt attirée par les chats et ayant en tête l’image plutôt peu glorieuse d’Odie, compagnon canin de Garfield le chat, je n’étais pas convaincue de m’y attacher. Et bien, c’est comme vivre à la campagne : je ne retournerai plus en arrière maintenant! 🙂

Pour la semaine prochaine, il va falloir qu’on trouve comment illustrer « Ecriture »…

I taught that I would publish a photo of a beautiful bouquet reworked in black and white. And then, there was a dog under the table with the bunch … I did not resist to take pictures! And he has even dethroned the bouquet… It’s true that it makes a while since you have seen our menagerie! 😉

For those who do not know him, so here is Calaël, our adorable Westie who keeps company for several years now. He is my first dog. Being rather attracted by cats and having in mind the rather inglorious image of Odie, the canine companion of Garfield the cat, I was not convinced taht I would like his presence. Well, it’s like living in the countryside : I would not return back now! 🙂

For next week, we will have to find how to illustrate « Writing » …

Joie / Joy

Pour l’illustration de ce thème, je suis revenue à l’un de mes sujets favoris : mon chien Calaël. J’ai profité d’une belle fin après-midi pour faire une série de photo de ma bête dans le jardin. Appareil photo en mode automatique et en rafale lors d’une activité qui le remplit de joie : jouer!

J’ai fait quelques belles photos (je ne vais pas résister à vous faire un dossier spécial chienchien sur mon Flick’r). Je ne suis cependant pas totalement satisfaite car je trouve que sa joie ne transparaît pas vraiment sur les photos. J’ai tout de même choisi le moment d’extase durant lequel monsieur se roule dans l’herbe. Vous constaterez que les couleurs sont un peu flashies pour être naturelles : vous avez raison, c’est retouché! (avec Light Room, à croire que j’y ai pris goût!?).

Et c’est parti pour le sujet de la semaine suivante : « Constraste ».

To illustrate the theme of the week, I returned to one of my favorite subjects: my dog Calaël. I used a beautiful late afternoon to take a serie of picture of my beast in the garden. Camera in automatic and burst mode during an event that fills him with joy : to play!

I made some nice pictures (I will not resist to create a special doggie folder on my Flick’r). I’m not totally satisfied because I feel that his joy was not really reflected in the photos. I still chose the moment of ecstasy during which Mr. rolls in the grass. You will find that the colors are a bit too flashy to be natural, you’re right, they are retouched! (with Light Room, to believe that I’ve started to like it!?).

And now, we go ahead for next week’s subject : « Contrast ».

Dormir / Sleep

A la lecture du thème de la semaine, j’ai tout de suite pensé à mes animaux qui sont des victimes de choix pour un tel sujet! Nous avons effectivement deux chats, deux cochons d’inde et un chien à la maison. J’avais donc le choix…

J’avais également quelques autres idées, du style du réveil qu’on fracasse… Mais avec l’habituel manque de temps, je me résouds donc à vous livrer l’une de mes préférées parmi les nombreuses photos d’animaux réalisées cette semaine. Il s’agit d’une photo de mon chien Calaël, un West Highland Terrier de trois ans. Comme souvent les soirs, il nous tient compagnie sur le canapé de la maison entrain de se reposer de son harassante journée…

Le thème de la semaine prochaine est « Petit Déjeuner ». Vous pouvez aller jeter un oeil sur le groupe Flickr d’une partie des participants. L’ensemble des contributions est récapitulé le dimanche sur Bento Blog.

After reading the theme of the week, my first thought went to my animals which are victims of choice for such a subject! By the way, we own two cats, two guinea pigs and a dog at home. So I had the choice …

I also had some other ideas, like shattering an alarm clock … But with the usual lack of time, I brought myself to deliver you one of my favorites among the many pictures of animals taken this week. Below is a picture of my dog Calaël, a three years old West Highland Terrier . As during many evenings, he is our sofa companion resting after his exhausting day …
