Seul / Lonely

Pas très inspirée pour le thème de la semaine du Projet Photo Renouvelable! Pour « Seul » vous avez donc droit à un oeuf solitaire dans sa boîte.

N’allez surtout pas croire que je manque d’oeufs en ce moment : c’est plutôt le contraire! J’ai en effet plusieurs dizaines d’oeufs à écouler rapidement dans mon frigo. Comme je ne suis pas en très grande forme en ce moment, je n’ai pas autant cuisiné qu’à mon habitude. Les oeufs qui normalement disparaissent dans de multiples préparations comme des muffins ou cookies pour les enfants sont donc restés en stock dans le frigo. 😕

Et rassurez-vous : les couleurs n’ont rien de naturel ; je voulais une photo contrastée et donc abusé du traitement par Lightroom; logiciel dont je ne peux plus me passer depuis que je l’ai découvert à travers ma première participation à un projet photo en 2011…

Don’t conclude that I miss eggs at the moment: it is rather the opposite! I do have several dozen eggs to use quickly in my fridge. As I am not in great shape right now, I haven’t cooked as much as usual. Eggs that normally disappear in many preparations such as muffins or cookies for the children are kept in stock in the fridge. 😕

And do not worry: the colours are not natural. I wanted a contrasted picture and therefore abused the use of Lightroom, the software which I can no more do without thay I discovered through my first participation in a photo project in 2011 …

Cycle

Dès que le thème de la semaine était paru, j’avais ma petite idée du sujet qui allait l’illustrer… La lune! Mais la météo de la semaine n’était pas très conciliante. Je m’étais déjà résolu à prendre en photo les pages correspondantes d’une encyclopédie! Et puis ce soir : miracle! C’était la première soirée sans nuages depuis fort longtemps. J’en ai donc profité pour enfin la photographier… J’ai retenu la photo ci-dessous que j’aime beaucoup pour l’aura de la lune et pour son côté un peu flou.

La lune est pour moi synonyme de cycle à plus d’un titre. Elle rythme marées et menstrues. J’adore regarder l’évolution de ses différentes phases dans le ciel. A tel point que je dois confesser que mes petits joujous électroniques comportent tous un petit programme pour m’indiquer où en est le cycle de la lune. Faisant pas mal de route, je trouve que les jours de pleine lune se repèrent sans peine tant les comportements sont affligeants… Et vous, avez-vous l’impression que la lune influe les comportements?

Sur ce, c’était donc le dernier billet au sujet du Projet Photo 52 de Mlle Ktycat de Bento blog. Je remercie encore une fois très chaleureusement Cathy pour ce projet et tout ce qu’il a apporté aux participants. Je me demandais ce que j’allais devenir sans cette sympathique routine qui tournait dans ma tête à la recherche d’une illustration visuelle du sujet de la semaine. Je crois que je n’étais pas la seule dans ce cas. Et heureusement pour nous, Cathy a aussi pris goût à tel point qu’elle consacre un nouveau blog, « Vivre la photo » à cette thématique! Et qu’elle nous propose un nouveau projet 52 pour l’année 2012. Venez donc vous inscrire et réaliser votre première photo pour ce nouveau projet sur le thème « Direction »…

Once the theme of the week was published, I had my little idea of ​​the subject that would illustrate it… the moon! But the weather of the week was not very accommodating. I had already resolved myself to take a picture of the relevant pages of an encyclopedia! And tonight miracle! It was the first night without clouds for a long time. So I finally took the opportunity to photograph it… I chose the photo above that I love for the moon’s aura and its little fuzzy side.

The moon is for me a synonymous to cycle for more ways than one. It rhythms tides and menstruation. I love watching the evolution of its different phases in the sky. So much so that I must confess that all my little electronic playthings have a little program to know where the cycle of the moon currently is. Driving a lot, I think the full moon days are easily spotted as the behaviours are distressing … And you, do you feel that the moon affects behaviour?

On this, so it was the last post on the Projet Photo 52 by Miss Ktycat from Bento blog. I thank very warmly again Cathy for this project and all it brought to the participants. I wondered what I would become without the friendly routine that was working in my head looking for a visual illustration of the subject of the week. I think I was not alone in this case. And fortunately for us, Cathy also had fun with it and created a new blog, « Vivre la photo » dedicated to this topic! And she offers us a new project 52 for 2012. Come register and make your first photo for this new project on « Direction » …

Illumination

Pfou… Mes semaines hyper chargées arrivent tout doucement à leur fin… Je suis en vacances dès vendredi soir et ce pour deux semaines 🙂 …

Voici donc très tardivement la photo retenue pour le thème « Illumination » du Projet Photo 52 de Mlle Ktycat qui lui aussi arrive à la fin! Cette photo est d’ailleurs une belle illustration de ce que ce projet m’a apporté.

En débutant je n’avais aucune idée de ce qu’était un bokeh! Pour les ignares (comme je l’étais il y a pas longtemps 😉 ), le terme vient du japonais boke (ぼけ?) que l’on traduit par flou ou de bokashi, qui décrit la gradation de couleurs dans la gravure japonaise sur bois. Cette notion est également utilisée en photographie depuis les années 90. C’est en général un flou d’arrière plan, l’élément principal de la photo étant net. Pour ma part, je n’ai gardé que le flou de la mini-guirlande de Noël que j’ai photographiée : j’aime l’atmosphère qui s’en dégage.

L’autre point est que la photo a été retouchée avec Lightroom dont je ne peux pratiquement plus me passer. Rappelez-vous qu’en début de projet, j’étais une farouche opposante à la retouche photo trouvant que celle-ci dénature l’original. J’ai totalement changé d’avis depuis que Mlle Ktycat nous a forcé à la retouche et mis à disposition une version temporaire gratuite de Lightroom! Ce logiciel permet vraimet de sublimer vos photos! Je ne peux que vous le conseiller (non, je n’ai pas d’actions chez Adobe). Pour cette photo, je l’ai utilisé pour modifier la gamme chromatique ( un jaune assez lavasse au départ) et lisser le bruit.

Encore une fois, je vous conseille d’aller voir le récapitulatif pour connaître les différentes interprétations du thème. Sachez également que les prochains sujets ont déjà été donnés :

– je planche sur « Mémoire » pour cette semaine.
– ce sera « Noël » pour le semaine 51
– et le projet se terminera sur « Cycle » pour la semaine 52.

Phew … My super charged weeks are slowly coming to an end … I’m actually on holiday on Friday night for two weeks 🙂  …

Here is, very lately, the selected picture for the theme « Illumination » of the Project Photo 52 of Miss Ktycat who also comes to the end! This photo is a good illustration of what this project brought me.

In the beginning I had no idea of what a bokeh may be! For the ignorant (as I was not long ago 😉 ), the term comes from the Japanese boke (ぼけ?) which is translated by blurring or bokashi, and describes the gradation of colors in the Japanese wood engraving. This concept is also used in photography since the 90s. It is usually a blur of the background, the main element of the picture remaining sharp. For my part, I have only kept the blur of the mini-Christmas wreath I photographed : I like the atmosphere that emerges.

The other point is that the photo was retouched with Lightroom which I can almost no more do without. Remember that earlier in the project I was a fierce opponent of photo retouching because I had the feeling that it distorts the original. I totally changed my mind since Mlle Ktycat forced us to retouch and provided a us temporary free version of Lightroom! This software allows really to sublimate your photos! I can only advise you to use it (no, I own no parts from Adobe). For this photo, I used it to change the chromatic scale (a slopped yellow at the start) and smooth the noise.

Rouge / Red

Comme souvent pour les thèmes qui m’inspirent, j’avais plus d’une idée en lisant celui-ci. Les coquelicots, une borne à incendie, une belle carrosserie de voiture ou encore un feu stop… Et comme souvent également, je n’ai eu que le temps de mettre ma première idée en photo! Trouvant la photo un peu fade au naturel, vous voyez ici le résultat d’une méchante accentuation de son côté rouge 🙂 . Vous devinerez que LightRoom a encore frappé. Je devrai d’ailleurs recevoir mon CD demain 🙂 🙂 :smile:. Et avec un peu de chance, j’ai même trouvé les sous pour un objectif; enfin je vise le bas de gamme, du moins en prix. A ce propos, je suis preneuse de tout avis que vous auriez sur les optiques de la marque Tamron…

Va falloir trouver une idée pour « En ville maintenant »!

As usual for themes that inspire me, I had more than one idea while reading it. Poppies, a fire hydrant, a beautiful car or a stop light … And as often also, I only had time to put my first guess in picture! Finding the original picture a bit bland, you see here the result of a violent turning red manoeuvre 🙂 . You guess right if you suspect LightRoom. By the way, I should receive my CD tomorrow 🙂 🙂 🙂 . And with some luck, I even found the money for a lens, cheap value, at least by the price. In this regard, I am taker of any advice you may have on optics of the Tamron brand …

I will have to find an idea for « In town » now!
