Correspondances Gourmandes – Août 2015 / Foodie Penpals – August 2015

Je suis encore une fois en retard! Ce billet aurait dû paraître le 31 août dernier qui était le dernier jour ouvrable du mois… Mais bon, il n’y aura pas eu non plus de recette pour le panier de la semaine 34 ni de de photo pour illustrer le thème « Texture ». 😦

Comme vous le savez, je participe régulièrement à cette sympathique manifestation qui a lieu tous les mois et qui a été initiée par Lindsay, américaine du blog « The Lean Green Bean », en septembre 2011. Il s’agit tout simplement d’échanger des colis gourmands entre blogueurs et lecteurs non blogueurs. Pour ce faire, il suffit de s’inscrire à l’évènement avant le 5 du mois. Pour les américains et canadiens, c’est chez Lindsay et pour les européens, en particulier les anglais, c’est chez Carol Anne du blog « Rock salt ».

J’ai reçu un superbe paquet de la part de Milou, du blog « Shimmer-pie », habitant en Hollande 🙂 . Il y avait différentes choses, sucrées et salées. Je ne vous cacherez pas que j’ai déjà craqué sur certains aspects sucrés! Ainsi, le chocolat, spécialement choisi à mon goût :), a déjà été entamé ainsi que les gaufres. J’attends que le température fraîchissent pour déguster la soupe de petits pois avec son pain! Le thé sera également de la partie à ce moment. Je suis aussi curieuse d’essayer les différentes préparation (pour pot au feu, mug cake et gâteau de semoule). Et sinon, je ne sais pas si vous l’avez remarqué, mais ce paquet m’a offert un nouveau porte-clé! 🙂

Les traditionnelles spécialités alsaciennes sont allées rejoindre Tracy, du blog « It’s not easy being gready« , au Royaume-Uni.

I am late again! This post should have been published on August 31th, which was the last business day of the month… Anyway, there was also no recipe for the basket of week 34 nor photo to illustrate the theme « Texture ». 😦

As you know, I regularly participate to this friendly event held every month and which was initiated by Lindsay, American from the blog « The Lean Green Bean, » in September 2011. This is a way to exchange tasty parcels between bloggers and non-bloggers readers. To do so, simply register for the event before the 5th of the month. For the US and Canada it is at Lindsay’s blog and for European, especially England, it is at Carol Anne’s blog « Rock salt ».

I received a wonderful parcel from Milou, from the blog « Shimmer-pie », living in Holland :). There were different things in it, sweet and savoury. I will not hide that I have already tasted some sweet things! Thus, chocolate, specially selected for my taste :), has already been tasted as the waffles. I wait for the temperature to go down to taste the pea soup with the bread! Tea will also be on hand at that time. I’m also curious to try different preparations (for stew, mug cake and semolina cake). And, I do not know if you’ve noticed, this package also offered me a new keychain! 🙂

Traditional Alsatian specialties went to join Tracy, from the blog « It’s not easy being white gready », in the United Kingdom.
